Elderly woman with dementia and a variety of diseases, cured after taking Chinese medicine, cognition regenerated

The third case was a case of an elderly woman, aged 71, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. She was treated from November 26, 2011 until May 26, 2012, only six month time, during which I had returned to the United States for a month. For the month I was away, she did not take medication. In other words, her treatment was for only five months. In such a short period of time, her condition improved significantly and eventually healed. Given the condition of this patient who suffered from various diseases, the treatment was incredibly effective.

Alzheimer’s disease, known as one of the current epidemics in the world, is also a difficult disease to treat. It is the fourth most common cause of death in developed countries, with approximately 360,000 new cases and 100,000 deaths worldwide each year. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates, there are about 35 million people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease worldwide and by 2050, this number is expected to increase to 115 million. According to medical journals “Neurology”, by 2050, the number of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease in the United States will increase from the current 5.2 million to 13.8 million. Currently, there is no known treatment to prevent or delay the deterioration of Alzheimer’s disease. In 2016, the United States has spent $210 billion on the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, which is projected to reach $1.2 trillion by 2050.

When patient first visited the clinic, she was held and supported by 2 persons and walking with a crutch. Her face was expressionless, eyes were dull and she was reluctant to speak. However, by the eighth visit, she was already out of dementia state. Her thinking was clear and she would even raise questions, a totally different person from the first time she came. Before the treatment, the patient also suffered from many diseases, such as low thyroid secretion, high blood sugar, rapid heartbeat, neurasthenia and anxiety disorders. Her back was hunched, body leaning forward and she suffered from constipation, sleep disorder and hands tremor. According to her blood test report, which her daughter gave me, her platelet was too low, hemoglobin was too high, the four liver enzymes (GGT, SGPT, SGOT, ALP) were all too high and the AFP liver cancer index (A embryo protein) was beyond normal, indicating that the liver has entered the initial stage of cancer. For this reason, her skin was often itchy. About two months ago, patient fell in the toilet. Her lumbar vertebrae protruded, pressing her nerves and affecting her walking. In addition, her knee cartilage was completely abraded, making her walk very painful.

Based on my analysis, the main reason for all her diseases was a weak heart, which also caused her sleeping disorder. As for her last fall, she must have blacked out due to brain hypoxia. Insufficient blood supply to the brain and blood clots caused her rapid heartbeat. Also, with a weak heart, naturally, the motor neuron signal amplitude sent by the brain will be weak, thus patient’s feet felt heavy, she had difficulty walking and was unwilling to speak.

After first medication, walk normally

One week after taking the medication, patient brought her urine sample for her follow-up examination. One bottle was orange-brown, indicating blood clots from the heart and brain was being discharged. Her lumbar pain was exacerbated, a normal phenomenon caused by the discharging of blood clots, opening up the meridian and oppressing the nerves. Her complexion has improved, she was more willing to talk and her voice was louder. Her conversation carried more contents, she had her own thoughts and opinions and regained her original stubborn personality, like talking back. This showed that the brain has enough blood supply and her cognition was regenerated. Her hands tremor has reduced, as seen when she stretched her arms out straight. Her heart rate began to slow down, however, her sleep was still not well. She could walk without crutches, took bigger steps and there was no dragging on the legs. It appeared that her condition has greatly improved. When pressed on an acupoint on the hand, blueish green ecchymosis appeared, this was mainly due to deficiency of blood coagulation factor and platelet in the blood. (It was learned that she was taking western medicine aspirin).

In the following follow-up visit, patient’s urine sample was light orange and dark brown, indicating blood clots in the heart and brain continued to be discharged. When eating or carrying out a little activity, patient’s body would sweat a lot. Patient still could not sleep well. She had difficulty falling asleep and when she woke up, she would have a lot of sweat every time. Nevertheless, her spirit was quite good. Sometimes she would find her body appearing reddish and her skin itchy, which is normal with liver detoxification. She had no major problems walking, her steps felt lighter and was able to sit up quickly from a sitting position, before the treatment, she was not able to do so. She became more active and would call to ask about her condition, unlike before when she seemed transfixed and did not understand any of my questions. After only four to five doses of medication, her condition has progressed a great deal.

From observation of patient’s urine sample, I found that the color has changed from orange to purple and there was a lot of white cholesterol sediment and transparent tartaric acid crystal at the bottom of the bottle and fat from the fatty liver floating at the surface. This showed that blood clots from the brain, heart and liver was being discharged, which is a very good thing. By the patient’s fifth follow-up visit, she could sleep for the first time for five to six hours a day, her bowel movement was normal, she woke up without sweating and her response was faster. At the same time, she often felt bloating at the stomach, which is a normal phenomenon of liver detoxification.

Liver toxins removed, itch reduced

Since patient had liver problems, a bottle of her urine sample was almost black, indicating a lot of toxins, impurities and foreign bodies being discharged from the liver. The other urine samples were mostly purple red, also indicating blood clots and toxins being discharged from the liver. From her latest blood test report, her liver enzymes index has improved but glucose level has increased because the medication I prescribed contained sugar, so after fasting in the morning, the blood sugar would also be increased. As for sleep quality, there were good times and bad. Patient tried not to take afternoon naps lest she could not sleep at night. Her lower back pain has reduced and her left knee pain has completely disappeared. When she took her afternoon medication at the clinic, her heartbeat increased and her left hand trembled more, probably because she was nervous. Things around her appeared clearer and brighter than before. Her itchy skin condition has also reduced.

Patient’s daughter said that the state of her mother’s brain has been restored to the state a few years ago before she was afflicted with the disease. After the treatment, her complexion and mental state were very good and response was quicker. During the medication, her heartbeat was rapid and she felt panic, so she went to the hospital for a checkup, but no problem was found. I think that the increase in heartbeat was a result of a weak heart due to cerebral ischemia. In her eighth follow-up visit, she talked a lot and asked a lot of questions. When I told her that she could go, she suddenly remembered I took short films of her before and asked if I want to take a short film today. This showed that her memory has been restored, and she no longer suffered from Alzheimer’s.

Rosy complexion, strong voice

Before her ninth follow-up visit, patient somehow had skipped medication for a week, so the color of her urine sample was a lot lighter. Her lower back and knee have basically recovered and she felt little pain. She was able to sleep for only three hours a day and her heartbeat was still very rapid, feeling a little agitated. There was no pain when she walked and her pace was faster. Her complexion maintained rosy and her voice was loud. In my opinion, the dementia has been largely cured.

At the beginning of 2012, when I went back to the United States for a month, the patient did not contact me nor continued her medication. Despite being away from Hong Kong, I expect my patients to continue to communicate with me regarding their progress and I can still prescribe medicine for them to pick up at the clinic. If a patient suddenly interrupt or stop treatment without consulting me, I normally will stop treating them.

Later, when I returned to Hong Kong, patient’s daughter begged me to treat her mother. I agreed to continue to treat her, but emphasized and reiterated the importance for her mother to continue medication as instructed, uninterrupted. Since the patient had discontinued diagnosis and treatment for a while, her condition began to reverse, her right knee was painful again and her urine sample had a lot of dark brown urate crystals, which was kidney stones being dissolved by the medication and carried by the blood flowing through the joints, causing pain. I believed that after she started medication again, in one or two weeks, the crystal would be completely discharged and the knee pain would go away. However, her heart was still weak. Her chest felt busty and she had a feeling of being suppressed. His son said his mother had a liver test and several liver enzyme indicators have improved. Blood sugar level has dropped to normal, but her thyroid hormone was still slightly lower.

Mental state cleared, back to normal

Since started medication, I could see white cholesterol sediments in patient’s urine sample. Urate crystals have not been found anymore, indicating the kidney stones have been removed and patient’s renal function should be improved. Patient could sleep for a longer time. Her left hand tremor has disappeared, indicating her heart function has improved. The protruding lumbar place no longer felt pain. Despite knee cartilage abrasion, she did not feel pain. When walking, her steps were big and light. She said that her mental state was very good and she felt clear-headed. I think the symptoms of dementia has been fully recovered.

In the final stage of treatment, patient’s condition continued to improve. Her sleep time has lengthened. She was able to sleep for four to five hours per night. Her upper body sweat a lot, indicating toxins being discharged from the body. Her heartbeat has slowed down and color of urine sample has changed for the better, mostly light yellow, the color of that of a healthy person. Her skin itching problem was also reduced, indicating that the liver function was improved. She started playing mah jong again and would win from time to time, this proved that her brain has restored its thinking power. When her daughter took her to visit a Western doctor, the doctor was very surprised to see she progress in such a rapid pace. Besides the bending forward of the body, which has become a habit and cannot be changed, after 21 treatments, she has returned to her normal life and activities.

Western medicine did not help

Currently, there is still no known treatment for Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease with western medicine. Whereas my innovative theory of Chinese medicine has treated these diseases with significant effects. Besides enabling patients to restore cognitive function and memory, the treatment also treats related diseases with a high success rate. I write these medical cases, which will be translated into English and integrated into a book in the future, so that the Western medical community will know about the uniqueness of my “Chinese medicine brain theory” in the treatment of these diseases.
